Virtual tour of a new Advanced Therapies (ATMPS) facility concept

Summary:

At both private and public levels, the demand for facilities dedicated to advanced therapy products is growing, both at the clinical and commercial levels. This makes it imperative to have versatile facilities that guarantee patient safety, with a perfectly delimited CAPEX and OPEX and that must comply with GMP regulations specific to this type of treatments and facilities.

In the workshop we will have the opportunity to:

• Conduct a container-type virtual tour of a facility for the manufacture of cell therapy and tissue engineering products.
• Conduct a container-type virtual tour of a facility for the production, control and release of gene therapy drugs: CAR-T cells and viral vectors.
• We will evaluate technical as well as CAPEX and OPEX to be taken into account in this type of facilities comparing an open process with a closed process (isolator).
