Angel Mir – Portes Bisbal S.L., manufacturer of industrial doors and logistic equipment, will present for the first time the new model of Hermetic Ball high-speed door for clean rooms with positive or negative pressure, at the Pharmaceutical Industry, Biopharmaceutical and Laboratory Technologies Forum FarmaForum, the largest event of the sector in the country.
On October 5 and 6, it will be possible to see live at Ifema’s stand C92 (Hall 14) how this new rapid roll-up door works, which stands out for its high airtightness and its minimalist design that leaves only the most essential parts of the door in view. Both features are designed to prevent the entry of air and any external contamination.
Hermetic Ball has a Class 3 certification with a pressure of 50 Pa (m3/m2h) for air permeability classification (positive and negative pressure) and Class 3 with a pressure of 150 Pa (N/m2) for resistance to water penetration.
On the other hand, this high-speed door has a lightweight PVC curtain that slides by means of a ball-bearing mechanism inside the door guides, which have a minimum clearance that favors the reduced design of the structure. In addition, these guides have a double lip incorporated in order to increase the airtightness of the door. The aluminum structure will vary depending on the Hermetic Ball Basic or Hermetic Ball Premium model; the difference is that the Basic format has the motor located on the side of the door, while the Premium model has it integrated in the upper drawer of the door together with the control panel, allowing the door to be installed flush between walls and further reducing the overall size of the door.
Hermetic Ball is equipped as standard with reliable safety features and offers the option of adding a non-contact push button for more hygienic door opening.
With this new door, Angel Mir expands the range of high-speed doors specifically designed for pharmaceutical clean rooms, which until now included the Hermetic Roll door with low air permeability and made of a stainless steel structure and PVC fabric with high longitudinal flexibility and transverse rigidity.
