Telstar will participate in FarmaForum 2022 (Madrid, 5-6 October 2022), the trade fair for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, cosmetics and laboratory technology industries. As part of this event, Marcel Porta, manager of Telstar’s Consulting Division in Spain, will give a workshop entitled «Paperless Validation: a necessity in the optimization of the validation process», which will address the impact of new digital applications in the implementation and qualification with digital documents instead of traditional paper in the optimization of the life cycle of the validation and verification process and risk management. This workshop will take place on October 5 at 10h.

Validation is an essential process in pharmaceutical production as it provides documented evidence that a system or process complies with GMP/FDA regulatory requirements and guarantees the correct manufacture of products at the required level of quality and safety assurance. The life cycle of the validation of a pharmaceutical process involves a long, tedious and time-consuming process of editing, approval and execution that consumes huge amounts of paper, in addition to the subsequent management process of this documentation, its archiving and subsequent recovery, wasting human, economic and environmental resources. The use of database applications designed for electronic and digital management optimizes the entire validation life cycle. Telstar DiSQ has been designed to facilitate project management, promote standardization, guarantee traceability, ensure compliance with Data Integrity concepts, provide real-time information on the status of the different documents and enable electronic execution and automatic generation of queries and reports on the validation status.
